How I’ve lightened my hair without too much hassle – Bblonde hair lightener review

OK, so for the past few weeks I’ve tried a new hair product. It’s from Bblonde by Jerome Russel and it’s perfect for everybody who wants a light hair without having to go through all the hassle of going to a salon or dying the hair themselves.

It comes as a spray and I’m using it after washing the hair (while it’s still a damp). Afterwards I blow-dry my hair as I normally do and that’s it: the hair is much lighter than before.

Apart from the hassle free part, low price (£5.99 at Superdrug) I also like the smell. It smells so nice and the fragrance stays in the hair for a long time. That is a big plus for me because I’m so picky when it comes to fragrances and usually hate to get my hair dyed in a salon if it smells like hair dye.

At first I’ve used it for the whole hair length but because I’ve got the desired colour so quickly I decided to try it for the roots. And guess what: it lightened the roots a lot just after one use. It’s so great to not have such a big difference between your lengths and your roots (as my natural hair colour is dark brown, you might understand how unaesthetic it looks even after just one week after dying my hair.)

After 10 uses. (Sorry for the quality of the last two pictures. I’ve used my phone’s silly front camera…)

Both lengths and roots have the same colour thanks to the lightening spray.

Next week I’m going to try one of their toners: Maximum Blonde Toner – Champagne so stay tuned to see how it works.
